About Me
I was born and raised in the West Midlands and my career has taken me to the USA, Canada, Caribbean, South America and Europe. I trained primarily as a singer/dancer and have performed in a range of entertainment mediums, yet my passion and dedication for teaching has led me to work for some of the most prestigious colleges in the UK, in the capacity of teaching and management and leadership.
I gained an MA in Professional Practice (Dance Teaching) in 2011 with Distinction focusing on the development of teacher training programmes for dancers. In 2018 I was awarded a PhD in Dance from the University of Roehampton examining the development of choreography in the MGM musicals.
My desire to educate and promote dance has led me to work internationally as a respected adjudicator for dance competitions and as an examiner, lecturer and faculty member of one of the leading dance examination boards in the UK.
